Volunteer Roles on Funding Team

PURPOSE

The Zúme Project Funding Team exists to identify, request and gather resources for the global translation and deployment of Zúme Project online training curriculum, growing the project reach from approximately 270 million English speakers in North America to an additional 34 global languages representing more than 4.8 billion speakers around the world. Resources gathered by the Funding Team will also be used to develop the Zúme Project mobile prayer and mobile platform apps that will deliver these translated materials to global trainers.

CURRENT PROGRESS

Funding has been received and translations are in progress for 7 of the 34 global languages. Funding is needed but translators have been identified for 21 additional languages. 6 final languages need both funding and translators.

TEAM NEEDS

The Funding Team is currently seeking the following volunteer* positions:

Lead Grant Writer

Zúme Project seeks a lead grant writer to provide grant writing services and oversee the grants management cycle (research, draft proposal, application and follow-up) to fund translating the Zúme Project online training curriculum into 34 global languages, as well as fund the Zúme Project mobile prayer and mobile platform apps. This role will establish and model best practices for the application, tracking and reporting of grants, allowing the Funding Team to measure progress towards its goal.

Estimated minimum time commitment: 2-4 hours, weekly

Grant Writer(s)

Zúme Project seeks individual grant writers to provide grant writing services (draft proposal, application and follow-up) targeted at one (or more) specific donor organization. Working in coordination with the Lead Grant Writer, this role allows an individual with limited time to maximize their impact by focusing on just one, ongoing project.

Copywriter / Graphic Designer

Zúme Project seeks a copywriter / graphic designer – or multiple individual with one of those talents to work as a team – to provide high impact messaging that helps “tell the story” of our global training vision and the results we’re seeing as the work develops. This individual / team will work with our Funding Team Lead and Marketing Team to help review our goals, progress and stories from the field translating them into effective print and digital messaging pieces to be delivered to potential donor organizations and individuals.
